TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ACCOMMODATION AT CASA TRUJILLO
1. PAYMENT SCHEDULE
To confirm a reservation, a payment of 50% of the total amount is required via bank transfer. The remaining balance (50%) must be paid no later than thirty (30) calendar days before the check-in date. Payment instructions will be sent to the guest’s email by our Sales Director. Failure to complete payment within the stipulated period may result in the cancellation of the reservation without the right to a refund.
2. CANCELLATION POLICY
- The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- If cancellation occurs within thirty (30) days prior to check-in, the remaining balance will not be refunded.
- Reservations may be canceled without additional penalty up to thirty (30) days before check-in, with the deposit remaining as the penalty.
3. ADDITIONAL SERVICES
- Breakfast is not included in the base rate. It may be requested at an additional cost and must be confirmed at the time of reservation or at least 48 hours before arrival.
4. GENERAL HOUSE RULES
- All guests must be registered before check-in. Entry of unregistered persons is not permitted.
- Pets will only be accepted with prior written authorization from the owner (with the corresponding fee).
- Smoking is prohibited in indoor areas. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas such as the rooftop and balconies.
- Parking of vehicles inside the Walled City is not permitted.
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and approval by our administrative staff.
- The use, preparation, sale, or possession of psychoactive substances is strictly prohibited on the property.
Nudity in common areas and activities that may offend morality, public order, or good customs is not permitted.
5. GUEST OBLIGATIONS
- The guest agrees to use the property exclusively for tourism purposes, in accordance with Decree 2590 of 2009.
- It is strictly forbidden to use the property for illicit purposes such as prostitution, sex tourism, drug trafficking activities, human trafficking or exploitation, child pornography, or any other activities sanctioned by the Colombian Criminal Code.
- Any additional visitor must be reported, registered, and approved by CASA TRUJILLO at least 24 hours before arrival.
- All guests and visitors are required to present valid identification at check-in.
CASA TRUJILLO reserves the right of admission.
6. MINORS
- All minors must be accompanied by at least one parent, a legal guardian, or an authorized family member.
- In compliance with Law 679 of 2001 and the Colombian Criminal Code, CASA TRUJILLO condemns and will report any form of child exploitation or abuse.
Valid documents proving parental relationship or authorization will be required for minors.
7. POOL RULES
While using the pool, guests must comply with the following rules:
- Diving headfirst or engaging in rough play is prohibited.
- Pets are not allowed in the pool.
- Urinating or defecating in the pool is prohibited.
- Glass bottles or containers are not permitted.
- Food consumption is prohibited inside the pool.
The pool is for shared use among different guests.
8. DAMAGES AND LIABILITY
Guests agree to return the property in the same condition in which it was received. Any material damage caused by negligence or inappropriate conduct will be billed and charged to the responsible guest at check-out. Guests shall be jointly liable for damages caused by their companions or unauthorized visitors.
9. PETS
- The acceptance of pets is subject to prior request and express written approval by CASA TRUJILLO.
Unauthorized entry of pets may result in additional charges or early termination of the reservation without refund.
10. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
CASA TRUJILLO is not responsible for personal belongings left behind, lost, or misplaced in common areas or outside the property.
11. SECURITY CAMERAS
The facilities are equipped with video surveillance cameras in common areas for security purposes, in compliance with Law 1581 of 2012. Guests expressly authorize their use for such purposes.
12. TAXES
Guests are responsible for paying all taxes associated with the accommodation, in accordance with current Colombian tax regulations and as stated in the quotation.
13. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By completing a reservation, the guest declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions. They also take the quotation sent by CASA TRUJILLO and commit to paying the full quoted amount, in accordance with these terms.
The guest expressly declares that they will not initiate chargeback or refund processes with their financial institution, as such action would constitute a fraudulent act. CASA TRUJILLO reserves the right to take legal action in cases of noncompliance or fraud by the guest.
